Tools Usage Tools Usage Students are given a common tool used within the Construction field. Students will be asked to show the proper use of tools and explain to their teacher how and why they are using these tools. Identification 10 pts Student has identified tools by name and classification.	Poor Student has shown little to know knowledge of tools being used. They have been able to accurately name all 5 tools with less than 55% accuracy.	Fair Student has shown minimalistic knowledge of tools being used. They have been able to accurately name all 5 tools with 55-75% accuracy.	Good Student has shown a fair knowledge of tools being used. They have been able to accurately name all 5 tools with 75-95% accuracy.	Excellent Students have shown exemplary knowledge of tools being used. They have been able to accurately name all 5 tools with 95-100% accuracy.
Tools Use 10 pts Student has shown how tool the tools should be used safely.	Poor Students have not exhibited the accurate attributes for tool usage with more than 50% accuracy. They have exhibited minimal safety procedures and show a lack of general tool safety understanding.	Fair Students have exhibited the accurate attributes for tool usage with 51-70% accuracy. They have exhibited adequate safety procedures and show a minimal understanding of general tool safety.	Good Students have exhibited the good attributes for tool usage with 51-89% accuracy. They have exhibited proper safety procedures and show a standard understanding of general tool safety.	Excellent Students have exhibited the exemplary attributes for tool usage with 90-100% accuracy. They have exhibited excellent safety procedures and show a vast understanding of general tool safety.
Verbal 10 pts Student has orally presented what is necessary to the use and safety procedure of tools.	Poor Volume often too soft to be heard by all teacher. Explanation is unclear and safety rules, procedures are inadequate and need corrected.	Fair Volume is loud enough to be heard by teacher at least 55%% of the time. Explanation basic and minimal and all safety rules are included.	Good Volume is loud enough to be heard by teacher at least 80% of the time. Explanation is good and shows standard understanding of tool use and safety standards	Excellent Volume is loud enough to be heard teacher throughout the presentation. Student shows full understanding of tool and how it is used and all safety procedures.
