Class Presentation Class Presentation Students are to present to the class a lesson on the assigned topic in a 5-10 minute presentation. Students are free to use any method they wish for the presentation, but the more creative, the higher the grade will be. Some examples are: Power Point presentation, SMART Board Presentation, video interview, etc... Students are also to hand in a paper with their name and a one-paragraph summery of their presentation. 	EXCELLENT (N/A)	WELL DONE (N/A)	AVERAGE (N/A)	POOR (N/A)
Information	EXCELLENT Student presented a clear main idea with information to support their idea.	WELL DONE Student presented a clear idea, but the facts and/or examples could have been better.	AVERAGE Student presented some questionable facts and/or sources.	POOR Student did not present a clear idea and did not have information to support their idea.
Time on Task	EXCELLENT Student stayed on task during the entire presentation and presentation was 3-5 minutes long.	WELL DONE Student mostly stayed on task during the presentation, but went off-topic once or twice and was 3-5 minutes long.	AVERAGE Student was off topic 3-4 times, and/or was easily distracted and was either too long or too short.	POOR Student was off topic more than 4 times, and/or was easily distracted and was too long or too short.
Use of Visual Aides	EXCELLENT Student used an excellent source of visual aides (power point, pictures, posters, video, etc...).	WELL DONE Student used a visual aid, but it was lacking in creativity.	AVERAGE Visual aid was quickly rushed together and/or did not add anything to the presentation.	POOR No visual aid used.
Presentation	EXCELLENT Student was easy to hear and understand and eye contact with the class.	WELL DONE Student was easy to hear and understand, but did not make good eye contact with the class.	AVERAGE Student was hard to hear and understand and did not make good eye contact with the class.	POOR Student could not be understood and used their notes the whole time.
