Critical Thinking/Decision Making	Excellent -Student is knowledgeable about the decision making and problem solving process with little or no adult guidance. Proactively analyzes and diagnoses problems and addresses them with creative solution.	Above Average -Student is knowledgeable about the decision making and problem solving process. Decisions are discussed, evaluated, and followed through with minimal adult guidance. Has capacity to develop effective solutions.	Average -Student is knowledgeable about decision making process but has difficulty getting results. Seeks adult guidance often. Makes appropriate decisions based on policies, students, and data.	Below Average Student is beginning to utilize a process of decision making with adult encouragement.	Low Student has minimal knowledge of the decision making and problem solving process.	Very Low Student is not knowledgeable of the decision making and problem solving process.

Above Average Student keeps to a schedule of tasks and minimizes disruptions.	Average Student keeps to a schedule and has a few disruptions.	Below Average Student keeps to a schedule but lacks consistency and focus	Low Student barely keeps to a schedule and needs supervision to remain focused on tasks.	Very Low Student has no means of tracking tasks, activities, or errands.
Communication Skills	Excellent Asks and answers questions, and goes beyond the confines of the classroom/office.	Above Average Articulates, presents ideas clearly. Shows skill in dealing with difficult or delicate situations, keeping other's feelings in mind.	Average Presents self with composure. Asks questions for clarification. Has good social skills.	Below Average Articulate when asked a question. Speaks when spoken to. Keeps to task at hand.	Low Has difficulty expressing himself/herself, but can follow instructions.	Very Low No articulation. Seldom makes eye contact; does not pay attention.
Professional Decorum	Excellent -Student was professionally dressed, and exhibited excellent manners the entire day.	Above Average -Student was professionally dressed, and exhibited excellent manners most of the day.	Average -Student was professionally dressed, and exhibited acceptable manners.	Below Average -Student was NOT professionally dressed and needed correcting sometimes.	Low -Student was NOT professionally dressed and needed correcting most of the time.	Very Low -Student was NOT professionally dressed and was rude and disrespectful.
