Impromptu Speech 
Students will draw a topic from a piles of topics. They will have 7 minutes to prepare and then deliver a two minute impromptu speech.

Poor

Missing significant areas of focus, lacking thesis statement and/or conclusion. Information is irrelevant to the topic.
Content

Excellent

All information was clear, concise and conversational with an excellent theme and hook line.
Good

All information was supported with specific details and reasons.
Fair

All pieces of information were present, but lacking specific detail. Reasons were insufficient in number anddetail.
Poor

The speech was short and missing pieces of information or lacking detail. Reasons were unclear or absent.
