3 Minute Script Project Rubric
5 Minute Script Project Rubric
Students will create an original script as a final project. The script can can be on the topic of their book reading, however, there must be original dialogue and plot twists. The final draft must be typed in proper script format. The script must be a minimum of 5 minutes in final performance format.

The story line is presented clearly. The script follows the plot structure discussed in class (i.e. rising action, climax, etc.).

The script is not well organized. The plot does not follow the structure discussed in class.

The script is unorganized. The audience has trouble following the plot and/or the student has little to no plot involved.

The script shows a clear plot.
Good
The script has a plot but somewhat hard to identify.
Fair
The script has a plot that is not clear.
Poor
The script is lacking a plot.
