There are too many errors to count and the reader is distracted.

10 or more errors are present and the reader is somewhat distracted.

Exceeds standard

Creativity and thought are evident in the final product. Student has researched and expended considerable thought and labor in creating the project.
Presentation

Does not meet standard

Project is sloppy, disorganized, and indecipherable.
Almost meets standard

Project is not neat or easy to understand. The presentation is not well-organized and significant explanation is required.
Meets standard

Project is neat and relatively easy to understand. It is organized and requires very little explanation.
Exceeds standard

Project is neat, easy to understand, and well-organized.
Oral Presentation

Does not meet standard

Student does not speak clearly. Student does not explain/describe project adequately. Student is unable to answer questions posed by others. Does not present in a professional manner.
Almost meets standard

Student does not speak clearly and is unable to fully explain/describe the project. Student is not able to completely answer questions posed by others. Does not present in a professional manner.
Meets standard

Student speaks somewhat clearly and explains/describes the project. Student is somewhat able to answer questions posed by others. Presentation is not completely professional.
Exceeds standard

Student speaks clearly and fully explains/describes the project. Student is able to answer questions posed by others. Presents in a professional manner.
