Notebooks Notebooks are a daily record of classroom participation and activity. Students are respoonsible to copy and carry all notes written on board, all handouts, and any other materials required by the teacher throughout the duration of any given semester unless otherwise specified. This will be assessed without notice during any given class in accordance with this rubric. 	F 55 pts	D 66 pts	C 76 pts	B 86 pts	A 92 pts
Content	F Notebook is incomplete and or missing.	D Notebook is missing either checklist, handouts, notes, dates, Aims or Do Now assignments, and/or contains inappropraite content such as irrelevant doodles and/or correspondences.	C Notebook contains much of the necessary information like checklist, handouts, most classnotes with accurate dates, Aims, and attempted Do Now assignments.	B Notebook contains most appropriate information like checklist, handouts, most classnotes with accurate dates, Aims, and mostly completed Do Now assignments.	A Notebook contains all appropriate information including writing checklist, handouts, all classnotes with accurate dates, Aims, and completed Do Now assignments.
Oragnization	F Notebook is incomplete, arranged and/or mixed up with other subjects and or missing.	D Notebook is incomplete, arranged and/or mixed up with other subjects.	C Notebook is complete, but arranged and/or mixed up with other subjects.	B Notebook is either incomplete, or not chronological.	A Notebook is chronologically organized and complete.
Appropriate	F Notebook demostrates a lack of direction is incomplete, arranged and/or mixed up with other subjects and or missing, messy and wastful about paper.	D Notebook demonstrates a lack respect for limited resources (for example: entire sheets of looseleaf wasted on one line Aims and/or Do Nows.)	C Notebook demonstrates a limited respect for resources (for example: entire sides of looseleaf wasted on one line answers to Aims and/or Do Nows.)	B Notebook demonstrates a respect for instruction, environment, and natural resources. but notes are illegible, incomplete and/or not succinct.	A Notebook demonstrates a respect for instruction, environment, and natural resources. Notes are legible, complete and succinct.
