Criteria
	4 Outstanding 4 pts	3-Excellent 3 pts	2 So-So 2 pts	1 Oh No!!! 1 pts
Words/Sentences	4 Outstanding I wrote 4 or more complete sentences.	3-Excellent I wrote 3 complete sentences.	2 So-So I wrote 2 or more sentences.	1 Oh No!!! I wrote 1 sentence or 1 word.
Spelling	4 Outstanding I spelled all of my words correctly. My spelling has the correct beginning, middle, and ending. I spelledl my sight words correctly.	3-Excellent I used invented spelling. My spelling has at some of my sounds correctly. I spell some of my sight words correctly.	2 So-So I used invented spelling and I have at least 1 sound for each word correctly. I do not spell any sight words correctly.	1 Oh No!!! I use only random letters. There is no sight words spelled correctly.
Grammar	4 Outstanding I used a capital letter and a period, exclamation point or question mark correctly on all sentences.	3-Excellent I used more than 1 capital letter or punctuation in correct places.	2 So-So I used at least 1 capital letter or punctuation mark in the correct place.	1 Oh No!!! I did not use capital letters or punctuation in the correct place.
