Music Video Project Music Video Project Students will select three music videos which they link together. They will then analyze each video for literary devices used and explain the visual connections to songs' lyrics. Song Meaning	Exemplary 19-25 Presentation fully explores the song meaning with a line-by-line analysis.	Good 13-18 Presentation explores the song meaning but does not examine all of the lines.	Minimal 7-12 Presentation only presents an overall generalization of the song meaning without looking at each line.	Poor 1-6 Presentation does not examine the meaning of the song.
Literary Aspects	Exemplary 19-25 Presentation explores more than one literary aspect of the song including rhyme, themes, tone, figurative aspects of the song.	Good 13-18 Presentation only explores one literary aspect of the song.	Minimal 7-12 Presentation briefly touches on one literary aspect of the song but does not fully analyze it.	Poor 1-6 Presentation does not examine the literary aspects of the song.
Background	Exemplary 19-25 Student presents in-depth background information on the song including information on the artist or group and the historical implications of the song.
