Scribbles. There may be emerging shapes-nothing distinctly human

Head/feet no body.
Good

The body is a shape-it may be round or square etc. Lowest shape with belly button highest
may be adding color to body to depict clothes. Legs may be lines.
Excellent

People have distinct bodies and legs. Legs are no longer a line but a shape. Faces will have more detail, eyes, noses, mouths, eyelashes eyebrows etc.

The perspective is me centered-things float around the person.

An attempt has been made to show the environment. There may be sun above grass and trees but size is emotional.

Baseline has been established. Beginning the sky and grass may just be a blue line above and green below. As it progresses there may be water, floors etc. Size is less emotional and more real.

Color is realistic. An attempt has been made to color the world as it exists.

Fine motor just starting. Cirlcles and lines are the main shape used. Coloring is usually an outline.

Use of triangles, ovals, rectangles etc. There may be an attempt to color in body-usually hard back and forth lines.
Excellent

Shapes are more sophisticated-almonds for eyes, a certain type of shoes, heels for instance. Coloring is usually in neat overlapping lines.
