Their paragraph does a good job of painting a description in the readers mind.
Uses capital letters	Poor Student does not use capital letters at the beginning of sentences. They put capital letters in the middle of the sentences when not needed.	Fair Student inconsistently uses capital letters. They use them sometimes.	Good Student consistently uses capital letters at the beginning of their sentences throughout the paragraph.
Uses punctuation marks	Poor Student does not use any punctuation marks.	Fair Student inconsistenly uses punctuation marks and/or the wrong punctuation marks are used.	Good Student consistently uses punctuation marks throughout their paragraph.
