Australian values for ICET students Demonstration Speech You will demonstrate your ability to organise and present a welcome session which also demonstrates your Australian values of friends and family. Demonstration Speech

Body Language	Poor The leader's posture and expression indicated a lack of enthusiasm or comfortableness with the speech. Some movements were very distracting and made the speech difficult to follow.	Fair The leader maintained adequate posture and mostly non-distracting movement during the speech. Expressions were comfortable.	Good The leader maintained good posture. Movements were purposeful and enhanced the welcoming activities. Facial expressions were comfortable and showed enthusiasm and friendliness.
Step-by- Step Directions	Poor Directions were unclear and non-specific.	Fair Directions were somewhat clear however missed some important points.	Good Directions were explicit and clearly explained. The audience was able to understand the task.
Materials	Poor Missing materials list	Fair Student has partially inadequate materials to complete the tasks.	Good Students has all materials needed for each task.
Confidence	Poor Student did not appear to be confident. The student either did not communicate or allowed stage -fright to diminish the activities.	Fair Student exhibited some level of confidence in his/her ability to make the activities successful. However showed some signs of stage fright to the audience. However, he/she was able to clearly communicate and demonstrate the Australian Values of friends and family.	Good Student exhibited confidence in his/her ability to make the activities successful. He/she was able to clearly communicate and demonstrate the Australian Values of friends and family.
Presentation	Poor The supporting materials (poster and video of No More Boomerangs) were poor or incomplete.	Fair The supporting materials (poster and video of No More Boomerangs) were complete and effective.	Good The supporting materials (poster and video of No More Boomerangs) were complete and highly effective in communicating the Australian values of Friends and Family.
