Organization/Neatness Student is expected to have an updated Table of Contents, all materials secured, pages on the correct page, and no excessive doodles.	Exemplary Work is very organized, pages are attached securely, pages are numbered sequentially.	Awesome Work is organized, pages are loose, pages are numbered sequentially.	Average Work is a little confusing, pages are numbered sequentially.	Shows Potential Work has little order, pages are numbered haphazardly .	Novice Work has no order, pages are missing, no page numbers.
Completeness for Left Side These are the student directed pages. Left side is to include the Cornell notes with creative summarizing work for the objective. They are to be neat and organized. They are to be well thought out and in correct notetaking format.	Exemplary Notes are clear, focused and complete.	Awesome Notes are clear and focused. One assignment is missing.	Average Notes are clear and focused. Two or three assignments are missing.	Shows Potential Notes are clear and focused. Four assignments are missing.	Novice Notes are clear and focused. Five or more assignments are missing.
Completeness for right Side The Right side is the teacher directed side. This has all the Foldables for each standard. They are to be neat and colorful.	Exemplary Foldables are clear, focused and complete. Anyone could use as a study guide.	Awesome Most of the foldables are complete, but one or two are incomplete.	Average Foldables are mostly done, but three or four are incomplete.	Shows Potential Foldables are partially done, but five or more are incomplete.	Novice Most of the Foldables are missing or unreadable.
Effort Students are expected to take full notes as demonstrated in class. Students should color, highlight, underline, or somehow enhance to emphasize key points for understanding.	Exemplary Student put exceptional effort into their IMN. Goes beyond expectations.	Awesome Student put effort into their IMN. Most details go beyond minimum expectations.	Average Student put some effort into their IMN. Meets minimum expectations.	Shows Potential Student put little effort into their IMN. Enhancements rarely included and few details meet minimum expectations.	Novice Student put little effort into their IMN. Enhancements not included and details are incomplete.
