Jonathan's Microsoft Excel Presentation Jonathan's Microsoft Excel Presentation Students have been studying and gathering research on data about Hurricane Katrina. At the culmination of the Unit, students are expected to create a PowerPoint presentation using computer technology and multimedia tools such as the internet, search engines, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Students are expected to (1) locate data (2) analyze data using Microsoft Excel (3) develop into a PowerPoint presentation and give a presentation to class. Microsoft Excel	Poor Shows little understanding of the program and its capabilities. Only uses one graph or representation.	Fair Shows understanding of the program and its capabilities. Only uses two graphs or representations.	Good Shows strong understanding of the program and its capabilities. Uses 3 graphs or representations.	Excellent Shows excellent understanding of the program and its capabilities. Uses 4 or more graphs or representations, with outstanding results.
PowerPoint	Poor Limited Slides and features, little understanding of the program.	Fair Adequate slides and features, decent understanding of the program.	Good Includes an introduction, a slide for every representation, and an ending. Shows good command of the program.	Excellent Includes an introduction, a slide for every representation, and an ending. Shows outsatnding command of the program. Uses different backrounds and shading.
Presentation	Poor Only 1 person presents the material, and shows little understanding.	Fair 2 or more people present the material and show adequate understanding.
