Movement Knowledge	Excellent Dancers know the movement extremely well. They are confident and don't need to follow anyone else. Dancers have a great sense of timing & direction.	Good Dancers know the movement fairly well. They keep together, and have a fairly good sense of timing & direction. A few mistakes made.	Needs Improvement Dancers are somewhat unprepared and unsure of the choreography. There is some sense of timing or direction.	Poor Dancers are unprepared and unsure of the choreography. There is no sense of timing or direction.
Unison/non unison	Excellent Perfect unison with partner and music	Good In unison with partner.	Needs Improvement Some unison throughout the dance.	Poor None shown
Performance Quality	Excellent Dancers perform with full confidence. They perform with enthusiasm, and are invested in their audience as well as the other dancers onstage.	Good Dancers perform with minimal distractions. They look fairly confident and prepared for most of the performance.	Needs Improvement Dancers are sometimes distracted and insecure. They sometimes break the performance by looking around, talking, or giggling throughout performance.	Poor Dancers are distracted and insecure. They are often breaking the performance by looking around, talking, and giggling throughout performance.
A Capella Ballad	Excellent The song was well thought out and prepared. The group made use of harmonies and pulled on their musical experiences to make the song unique.	Good The group prepared the the song well. The harmonies were nice and the song was well presented.	Needs Improvement There were some problems with the song that interfered with the presentation. More time could have been spent to create a more solid product.	Poor There were some issues that were not addressed in rehearsal. The piece was not cohesive or well thought out.
