Story Elements 5 pts	4 ( x 5 pts) The story contains the four following elements: 1.characters, 2.settings and both 3.problem and 4.solution in the plot that work together, tell a story, and make sense.	3 ( x 5 pts) The story has solid elements of the following: character, setting, and problem only in the plot. The solution element is developing.	2 ( x 5 pts) This story contains two of the following: 1. characters, 2. settings, 3. problem, 4. solution.	1 ( x 5 pts) The story contains: 2-0 of the following: characters, setting, problem, solution
Fairy Tale Elements 5 pts	4 ( x 5 pts) The author includes 4 or more fairy tale elements that fit smoothly into the story.	3 ( x 5 pts) The author includes 3 fairy tale elements that fit fairly well into the story.	2 ( x 5 pts) The story has two fairy tale elements, or they do make much sense in the story.	1 ( x 5 pts) The story has one fairy tale element, or they make no sense.
Ending 4 pts	4 ( x 4 pts) The ending makes sense and does not come out of nowhere. The reader's key questions are answered.	3 ( x 4 pts) The ending make sense.
