	Excellent 5 pts	Good 4 pts	Average 3 pts	Below Average 2 pts
Comprehensibility	Excellent Listener can always understand what the speaker is trying to communicate.	Good Listener can understand most of what the writer is trying to communicate.	Average Listener can understand approximately half of what writer is trying to communicate. Some incorrect use of Spanish vocabulary.	Below Average Very difficult to understand the majority of the content. Mostly incorrect use of Spanish vocabulary.
Comprehension	Excellent Student fully understands questions and comments made by teacher.	Good Student understands the vast majority of the questions and comments made by teacher.	Average Student understands some of the questions and comments made by teacher. May ask for 1 or two repetitions.	Below Average Student does not understand questions and comments made by teacher. Asks for many repetitions.
Grammar Accuracy	Excellent Speaker uses grammar correctly. Grammar does not take away from speaker's message. 0-4 errors	Good Speaker usually uses grammar point correctly. Grammar slightly distracts from speaker's message 5-8 errors	Average Speaker makes frequent mistakes with grammar. Grammar does affect speaker's message 9-12 errors	Below Average Many grammar errors interfere with message of the paper. Grammar is distracting to the speaker's message More than 12 errors.
Instructions and Effort	Excellent Speaker fulfills the requirements of the assignment and has put care and effort into the process.	Good Speaker fulfills all of the requirements of the assignment and ample time and effort are apparent.	Average Speaker fulfills some of the requirements of the assignment. Some effort is apparent.	Below Average Speaker needed to pay attention to detail and instruction. Little care and effort are evident in the process.
Pronunciation	Excellent Speaker uses proper pronunciation of vocabulary with (0-3) errors. Message is clearly understood.	Good Speaker usually uses proper pronunciation of vocabulary with only a few (4-5) errors. Message is mostly understood.	Average Speaker sometimes uses proper pronunciation of vocabulary with some errors (6-7). Message is somewhat understood.	Below Average More than 7 pronunciation error. errors make message hard to understand.
