Preparation	Wow! Students turned in outline on time, zero-4 errors. Students email me ahead of time vocabulary class will need to know and comes to class prepared with media and props.	Average Students turned in outline on time with fewer than 5 errors. Students come prepared day of presentation with no technical issues, ready for presentation.	Needs work Students turned in outline late or not at all (0). Day of presentation students are not prepared (forgot media or props, needs to make trip to locker, forgot this was their presentation day).
Presentation materials	Wow! Students come with creative and appropriate props or Powerpoint presentation to illustrate their subject; speaks with no notes and engages audience.	Average Students provide appropriate props for presentation oruse Powerpoint to illustrate presentation minimum text, explains pertinent vocabulary to class, uses some notes.	Needs work Students do not have props or powerpoint presentation has too much text, student is reading directly from Powerpoint. Vocabulary is not explained ahead of time to class, corrections were not made to presentation, students read script.
Timing, grammar	Wow! Speaks for 4-5 minutes with no grammatical errors n speaking or writing (if Powerpoint is used).	Average Speaks for fewer than 4 minutes with few grammatical errors n speaking or writing (if Powerpoint is used)..
