The dances will be graded upon its set up that includes ability to incorporate the right combination of steps and moves in accordance with the music, coordination, teamwork, posture, and energy.

Ability to stay in time with the dance, and the music to an extent.
LEVEL 0

The pair/group attempts to keep a rhythm, but gets off beat and speeds up or falls behind often. Steps are not in rhythm at all.
LEVEL 1

The pair/group shows a basic understanding of tempo and beat, but on occasion falls behind and/or speeds up in places or makes errors in rhythm.
LEVEL 2

The pair/group is extremely accurate in shoing basic understanding of tempo and beat. Never falters on their steps.
Knowledge movement/choreography

Ability to execute the movements. Correct placement of hands, feet, legs.
LEVEL 0

Not Yet: Posture was lacking, hands were not placed in the right spots, and steps were off.
LEVEL 1

Almost: Posture was pretty good, positioning was fairly accurate, and the steps were pretty close.
LEVEL 2

Yes!: Everything was right on. Looked more advanced than a group that just learned to dance.

Dance looked like the pair/group utilized some of rehearsal time in class. Not quite together.

Dance looked as though the pair/group fully utilized rehearsal time.
Solid performance.
Incorperates All Manditory Elements

Includes: Moving in tempo, Recognition of lyrics, 3 dances, costumes
