Finding Surface Area Finding Surface Area Students will build a net for different pyramids and prisms. On that net they will describe the shape, write the formula for the area os that shape and calculate the area of each shape. Surface Area Students will build and calculate surface area of 3 different solids.

Build a Solid Identify the lateral faces and bases place the appropriate area formula in each. Calculate the area of each face and base. Then give the surface area of the total solid.	Poor Construction is sloppy. No formulas or claculations.	Fair Good construction. Area formulas are correct. Calculations are mostly correct.	Good Good construction. Formulas are correct.
