Students will create a new land with a theme, around which they will choose and name AT LEAST 6 landforms and 5 bodies of water, and a capital city. Maps will also include a title, compass rose, map key, scale, and latitude and longitude lines In creating the design, students should take into consideration at what ACTUAL latitude and longitude their land would be found at, so that appropriate physical features are included and in the correct locations. Once a rough draft is complete and all criteria are included, the final project poster can be completed.
