Fielding for Baseball
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts	Excellent 4 pts
Footing/Leg position	Poor Student is not in athletic position, Feet are not shoulder width apart, knees are not bent, student is standing straight up, and not in a ready position to field the ball.	Fair Student is in a decent athletic position, knee aren't bent very much, the student is almost standing straight up, and the student is not a good ready position.	Good Student is in athletic position, knee are somewhat bent, bottom is not as low as needed but still somewhat low, and student is almost in full ready position but something is missing.	Excellent Student is in athletic position. Feet are shoulder width apart, knees are bent, bottom is low towards the ground, student is on toes in ready position to move either way
Hand Position	Poor Glove hand is no where close to the ground and it is above the waist. the top hand is not there, and the hands are at the side not ready for the ball	Fair Glove hand is not really close to the ground but still below the waist, the top hand is close the glove but not on top, hands are between legs but not ready for the ball	Good Glove hand is almost to the ground, the top hand is to the side of the glove but is still on top. Hands are between legs and but not really ready for the ball	Excellent Glove hand is staying on the ground, the top is hand is on top of the glove, hands are in between the legs and ready for the ball
Fielding	Poor Student does not charge the ball, does not break down, does not push throw the ball with hands, does not field the ball at all and ball goes by them	Fair Student barley charges the ball does not break down very well, the student does not push threw the ball and fielding is very sloppy and the student does not field it properly	Good Student somewhat charges the ball, break down but not at the proper time, the student goes through the ball but fields the ball kind of sloppy into throwing form	Excellent Students charge the ball, breakdown before the ball gets to them,they are in ready position, the student goes through the ball and fields the ball cleanly and is ready to throw the ball.
