iRubric: Planning Stages of Making a Fruit Smoothie rubric

Maximum level of support to have group discuss fruit interests with each other. Teacher/therapist writes down each child choice for all to see. Provides maximum assistance for students to notice similar fruit interests. Therapist or teacher writes down the agreement of smoothie recipe IE: Strawberry banana, Raspberry Mango, Watermelon etc.

Moderate help provided to have group discuss fruit interests with each other. Teacher/therapist writes down each child choice for all to see. Provides moderate assistance for students to notice similar fruit interests. Encourages the group to write, color or use visual aids to show ideas that was just provided as a group.

Minimal help provided to brainstorm ideas by beginning communication with peers, sharing interest in fruits everyone likes. Minimal verbal cue provided to promote students to document choices either writing down choices (Pictures or written words), collecting visual aids to show choices they are interested in, assistance to use the internet for ideas

Initiated discussion with peers with or without using visual aids provided. May have include discussing what fruits one like or does not like. Independently writing down ideas with pencil/paper provided (can be written words or pictures) or collecting visual Aids to demonstrate the ability to make a choice or using the internet to find ideas (Print recipes of interest)
