Appearance	Good Speaker addressed audience at all times, referring only casually at notes. Speaker did not fidget or squirm.	Fair Speaker maintained contact with the audience for most of the speech, and did not fidget or squirm.	Poor Speaker rarely looked at audience, giggled through most of the speech, kept hands in pockets, or was extremely fidgety throughout presentation.
Speaking	Good Speech was clear, loud enough to be heard from all parts of the room, but was not so loud as to be distracting from what was being said. Speech was not rushed or hurried. Speech lasted at least 5 minutes.	Fair Words were understandable, but could have been clearer and more distinct. Speaker seemed somewhat nervous and spoke a little too quickly. Speech lasted at least 3 minutes.	Poor Words were unintelligible. Speaker rushed through the speech in less than one minute.
Knowledge of content	Good Speaker had good understanding of what he/she was presenting. Presentation was believable and verifiable.	Fair Speaker had some understanding of what he/she was presenting. Information did not seem "solid".	Poor Speaker had little, if any, understanding of what he/she was presenting. Little thought and preparation went into creating the speech.
Use of props	Good Speaker used at least 2 relevant, unrelated props for presentation.	Fair Speaker used one relevant prop for presentation.	Poor Speaker used no props for presentation.
Parts of the speech	Good The speaker had a good "hook" (introduction), a body, and a strong conclusion.	Fair The speaker was missing one of the essential 3 parts.	Poor The speaker was missing more than one essential parts.
