Emerging Skill Forgets to breath deeply, slouches, has hands in pockets, and/or shouts when asked to "sing out."
Pitch	Advanced Always sings correctly with good intonation. Able to match pitch correctly at all times.	Exceeds Expectations Usually sings correctly, occasionally needs practice to match pitch.	Developing Skill Sometimes sings correctly, but sometimes off pitch or with inappropriate voice.	Emerging Skill Unable or unwilling to try singing melody. Pitches off-key or inappropriate voice used.
Tone	Advanced Tone is round and well placed on all vowels and in all parts of the singing range at all times. Transitions smoothly from head to chest voice.
