Focus	None Writing displays no understanding of the topic and/or does not address the prompt.	Limited Writing displays minimal awareness of the topic and/or addresses the prompt less than adequately.	Some Writing is somewhat on topic and the prompt is somewhat clear.	Right On Writing is mostly on topic, and the prompt is clear based on the response, i.e. the writer rephrases the question.	WOW! Writing is clearly focused, on topic, and the prompt is clear based on the response, i.e. the writer rephrases the question.
