Cultural Universals
	Poor 10 pts	Fair 15 pts	Good 20 pts	Above and Beyond 25 pts
Cultural Universals	Poor Five or less cultural universals are identified and four or less are defined.	Fair At least six cultural universals are identified and at least 5 are clearly defined.	Good All eight cultural universals are identified, but some may not be clearly defined.	Above and Beyond All eight cultural universals are clearly identified and defined.
Examples	Poor Missing at least half of the examples and many are unclear in their relationship to the cultural universals.	Fair Missing a couple of examples and/or a few do not clearly represent the cultural universals.	Good At least one example of each cultural universal is given and each example shows a clear relationship to the cultural universals.	Above and Beyond At least two examples of each cultural universal are present and show a clear relationship to the cultural universals.
Presentation Style	Poor Work is sloppy, unclear, has many presentation flaws, and is two or more days late.	Fair Work is presentable, may be somewhat unclear, may have some presentation flaws, and is two days late.	Good All work is neat and clear and turned in on time or no more than one day late.	Above and Beyond All work is neat, creative, artistic (if applicable), clear, and turned in on time.
Mechanics	Poor At least half or more of the work contains spelling and/or grammar errors; little or no identifying information.	Fair There are quite a few spelling or grammar errors, and missing some of the identifying information.	Good Work has a couple of spelling or grammar errors and may be missing some of the identifying information.	Above and Beyond All work contains name, project title, block, and date; and contains no spelling or grammar errors.
