Perspective Drawing - Overlapping This is a Waldorf main lesson which includes the student drawing a series of trees to demonstrate the perspective drawing technique of overlapping and copying a poem in cursive into their main lesson book. Technique	Below Expectations Student drew trees, but did not overlap accurately.	Approaching Expectations Student had 1 or 2 examples over overlapping items.	Meets Expectations Student drew a grove of trees or interlocking limbs that demonstrated the technique of overlapping. Student had at least 3 overlapping objects.	Exceeds Expectations Student have more than three overlapping trees or limbs and attempted to scale size as well to create perspective.
Use of Color and Neatness	Below Expectations Student did not use color or shading and was not neat.	Approaching Expectations Student used color but was not neat and did not include significant detail.	Meets Expectations The student made good, sensible use of color and drew neatly demonstrating effort towards beauty.	Exceeds Expectations The student had exceptional use of color and neatness.
Handwriting	Below Expectations Student used print, but did not write neatly.	Approaching Expectations Student attempted cursive, but was unable to form all letters. Writing was not neat.	Meets Expectations Student wrote the entire poem in cursive and the majority was neat.	Exceeds Expectations Student write the entire poem in very neat cursive and included embellishment. (colored background, illustration or border)
Content	Below Expectations Student wrote less that 50% of the poem or had many mistakes.	Approaching Expectations Student wrote 80% of the poem and had some mistakes.	Meets Expectations Student copied the poem, title, and author, but had one or two mistakes.	Exceeds Expectations Student copied the entire poem, title and author 100% accurately.
