Animal Habitat Diorama Project Animal Habitat Diorama Project Students fill out the animal habitat information sheet and create a box diorama of their animal or plant in its natural habitat. Information Sheet Table Students were asked to fill in the table to describe how their animals survive in the habitat.	Needs Improvement The table is not filled in correctly.	Below Average Some of the areas are filled in. Some words may be hard to read.	Average All areas are filled in. Words are legible.	Advance All areas are filled in and contain rich details. Multiple foods are listed for each animal. Words are legible.

Shoebox Students were asked to be creative and neat. The habitat should exhibit sources of food, water and shelter	Needs Improvement Was made, but did not exhibit sources of food, water, and shelter. Was not neatly made, or did not use creative methods.	Below Average Exhibited some sources (food, water and shelter), but not all. It was neat , but did not use a lot of creativity.	Average Exhibited all sources of food, water and shelter. It was neat, but may have not been very creative in comparison to the rest of the class.	Advance Exhibited all sources of food, water and shelter. It was neat and very creative in comparison to the rest of the class.
Presentation Students were advised to read loudly and clearly without help from teacher, and explain their diorama process clearly.	Needs Improvement Did not read on their own.	Below Average Read some on their own, but did not clearly understand what they were reading, evident when asked questions.	Average Read clearly, made good eye contact, stood still and explained habitat process.	Advance Read loudly and clearly to explain the habitat and added extra prompts to further explain information.
