Project I - Photoshop Students will be given a photoshop project to create a portfolio of their work. This portfolio will require: - Minimum of 5 photographs edited in photoshop - At least one photo should be an example masking - At least one photo should be an example of adding an element not included in original composition - At least one photo should be an example of transforming black and white to color. - At least one photo should be an example of filtering	Poor The student is able to satisfy only 2 requirements	Fair The student is able to satisfy 3 requirements	Good The student is able to satisfy 4 or more requirements
Project II - Build Students will learn to buy computer parts and build their own PC This build will require for the student to know all parts of the computer and the purpose of each part.	Poor The student is unable to demonstrate knowledge of the parts of the computer through PC build AND The student fails assessments	Fair The student is able to demonstrate knowledge of working parts of a PC BUT Fails assessments	Good The student is able to demonstrate knowledge of working parts of a PC AND Passes Assessment
Report Students will write a report either on the technical specifications of their computer build and explain what the specifications mean OR a step by step process on how to manipulate a photo in Photoshop. The requirements of the report: - Min. 5 pages double spaced - Must include a minimum of 2 cited sources - Must show how to simplify a complex concept	Poor Student only satisfies only one requirement	Fair Student satisfies 2 requirments	Good Student satisfies all three requirements.
