REST Question 
REST questions are questions where the students learn to restate the question, explain their thoughts and use support directly from the text to back up their answers. Finally, they conclude their writing with a TA-DA sentence which states a hope, wish or an opinion about the topic they have been writing about.

Little to know support from the text is given to back up their ideas and thought. Mostly their own thoughts or opinion.

Some support given from the text to backup their thought and ideas. Uses some word their own thoughts and ideas.
Practioner

Partial support given from he text to back up their thoughts or ideas. Uses page numbers to indicate where they found their support.
Expert

Has 3 or more support facts from the text to back up their thoughts and ideas. Uses page numbers to indicate where to find their support in the text.
Ta-da

Novice

No conclusion given or gives little wrap up of their thoughts or ideas.
Apprenti

Somewhat of a concluding sentence to. Wrap up their thoughts and ideas.
Practioner

Uses a hope,wish, or opinion to wrap up their thoughts and ideas.
Expert

Makes a text to text, text to self, or text to world connection about what they have just written about in their question.
