There are several pauses or hesitations and they detract from overall music.	Poor Student is not able to demonstrate understanding of steady beat at this time.
Rhythm	Advanced Student ALWAYS demonstrates rhythmic understanding and there are no errors. Rhythm is performed clearly.	Proficient Student MOSTLY demonstrates rhythmic understanding. There are very few errors and rhythm is mostly clear.	Fair Student SOMETIMES demonstrates rhythmic understanding. There are several errors which detract from overall performance.
