Using a checks and ledgers	Advanced The student will be able to reconcile the check ledger with the bank statement.	Beyond Student will be able to record a written check on the ledger.	Competent Student will be able to write a check.	Developing Student will be able to write & spell numbers up to one hundred.
Using a calculator	Advanced Student will use calculator for balancing a register of a checking account, to include the process of adding and subtracting with 100% accuracy.	Beyond Student will use the calculator to convert digit numbers to dollars & cents in order to calculate total costs and purchases at the store.	Competent Student will be able to add and subtract 1-2-3-4 digit numbers on the calculator.	Developing Student will understand the process of calculator functions.
Estimation Basic Values	Advanced Student will be able to estimate within the nearest dollar, how much something should cost and how much change he/she should receive.	Beyond Using a number line, student will be able to correctly determine if a number should be rounded up or down.	Competent Student will be able to count by 5-10-20-100.	Developing Student will understand the correlation between estimation and rounding.
