Meets the Standard

The writer uses the pronouns I and me to tell the story. It is consistently told in first person point of view. All events are told in chronological order, transitions make the order clear.
Partially Meets

The writer told the story from their point of view but did not always use I. Most events are in order using transition words.
Does Not Meet

It is unclear who is speaking as the writer slips into another point of view. The events are out of order and/or does not use transition words.

Has a great attention grabber (hook). Describes an experience that has happened and sets the scene to make the reader want to read more.
