Science Project: Crystal Candy Science Project This rubric will determine how well the student followed specific instructions given on how to complete a science project, the student's overall creativity, and how the project was presented. Science Project

Presentation	Poor No kind of display for project and no materials shown.	Fair Work displayed is not organized well and lacks clear labels.	Good Work is displayed well and organized neatly. All of the parts to the project are complete and the data is clearly presented with labels.	Excellent Work is very well displayed. It is organized, in order, and each part is complete. Extra work was done on the project. Data is neat, clear, and easy to read.
Creativity	Poor No creativity at all. Very dull.	Fair Work displayed has some pictures and things, but lacks creativity.	Good Work is displayed using various graphics and pictures to decorate the display and is eye catching.	Excellent Work is displayed using a variety of graphics, pictures, and colors. Display is very easy to look at and follow as well as eye catching.
Crystal Candy	Poor No candy present.	Fair Crystal candy is displayed but it is poorly completed without directions on how to grow a crystal candy.	Good Crystal candy is on display nicely, with directions clearly written. The color is accurate, the crystal looks real.	Excellent Crystal candy is on display artistically, with neatly displayed directions for others to read and take with them. The crystal is the correct color and looks real.
Overall project	Poor Work is not completed properly and the instructions were not followed correctly. There was lack of effort in doing the project. Student did not meet expectation.	Fair Work is displayed, completed, and the instructions were followed, but there were missing parts and unorganization. Student did not meet expectation, but made a sincere effort.	Good Work is presented in an organized manor with good visual effects and all of the parts were completed correctly. Student met expectation.	Excellent Work is organized, complete, has great visual effects, and has extra effort put into it. Student went beyond expectation.
