Soccer Skills Assessment Soccer Skills Assessment Students will be assessed on their overall ability and attitude toward the game of soccer. Soccer Skills Assessment
	Minimal 1 pts	Partial 2 pts	Acceptable 3 pts	Thorough/Advanced 4 pts
Kicking from a stationary posistion	Minimal Student's misses the ball.	Partial Slight arm swing Little foot plant.	Acceptable Student's leg is bent at the knee Visable foot plant Little follow through with the leg.	Thorough/Advanced Student's leg is bent at the knee Arm action helps with the force Visable foot plant Follow through with the leg.
Dribbling the ball 25 yards	Minimal Student uses toes to kick the ball Does not go in a straight line. Constantly chasing after the ball.	Partial Student uses only one foot to kick the ball forward Chases after the ball.	Acceptable Student kicks the ball ahead of them They use both feet The student goes in straight line	Thorough/Advanced Student kicks the ball ahead of them They use both feet (inside and outside only) The student goes in a straight line at a fast pace.
Passing the ball to a Partner	Minimal Student passes the ball with their toes Ball goes nowhere near the target Ball bounces for most of the pass.
