Basic Wiring Enter rubric description
	Poor 2 pts	Fair 5 pts	Good 10 pts
Wire Insulation length	Poor Student has more than 1" of insulation in the box. The insulation has cuts or rips in more than two place in the circuit.	Fair Student has more than 1/2" but less than 1" of insulation in the box. The insulation has less than two places cut or ripped in the circuit.	Good Student has the right amount of insulation inside of the box. The insulation has no cuts anywhere in the circuit.
Wire nut connection	Poor Student has the wire nuts on the wire but is not tight and copper wire is showing from under the wire nut.	Fair Student has the wire nuts tight, but copper wire is visible from under the wire nut.	Good Student has the wire nuts tight, no copper wire is showing from the wire nut.
Screw terminal connections	Poor Student does not have the terminal screws tight, the wire hooks either right or backwards.	Fair Student has the terminal screws tight, but the wire hooks are going backwards.	Good Student has the terminal screws tight with the wire hooks going the right way.
Neatness	Poor Student's wiring project has different length wires, crammed in the box.	Fair Student's wiring project has some evenly bent wires but not all the way through the project.	Good Student's wiring project has evenly bent wires, all wires are the same length, folded neatly in the box.
Functionality	Poor Student's wiring project will not work.	Fair Student's wiring project works but has minor problems. (connections are not tight)(wire nuts are not tight)	Good Student's wiring project works without any problems. All connections are tight.
