Little or No Understanding Student plays few or none of the notes with good tone, articulation and proper fingering.
Recorder Songs	Surpasses Expectations Student can easily play assigned selections alone or with class at a steady tempo and is able to play some songs without prompting.	Meets Expectations Student plays most of the assigned selections with the class at a steady beat.	Some Understanding Student plays some of the assigned selections with the class using a steady beat some of the time.	Little or No Understanding Student cannot read and play assigned selections with the class.
