My Two Events My Two Events The students will be demonstrating their knowledge of the difference between A.M. and P.M. by creating a visual interpretation of two events. One of the events would be from the A.M. time period and the second event would be from the P.M. time period. 	Poor 2 pts	Fair 3 pts	Good 5 pts
A.M. Event	Poor The student states an event which takes place in the A.M. time period.	Fair The student states an event which takes place in the A.M. time period and gives a brief description.	Good The student states an event which takes place in the A.M. time period and gives a description explaining why this event fits into the A.M. time period. The student visually represents the A.M. event.
P.M. Event	Poor The student states an event which takes place in the P.M. time period.	Fair The student states an event which takes place in the P.M. time period and gives a brief description.	Good The student states an event which takes place in the P.M. time period and gives a description explaining why this event fits into the P.M. time period. The student visually represents the P.M. event.
Oral Presentation	Poor The student reads their description of the A.M. and P.M. event. The student makes little eye contact and speaks in a low voice.	Fair The student reads their description of the A.M. and P.M. event and explains why he/she placed the event in the A.M. or P.M. time period. Has some eye contact, speaks in a low voice at times.	Good The student explains the events he/ she placed in the A.M. and P.M. time periods. The student explains why he/ she thinks that the event should be in the given time period. Has great eye contact and speaks clearly throughout the presentation.
