Beginner

Student does not know what the rules of the game are after completing the football unit. Unsure of terms relating to rules.

Student has some fair knowledge of the rules. Student Knows the basics,most important rules of the game.
Intermediate

Student knows most of the rules and is able to apply or make calls during game play.
Advanced

Student knows almost all the rules. Can help teach others that don't know all the rules.

Beginner

Student does not know the passing patterns after completing the unit.

Student has some idea of the passing patterns but is unable to apply them in a game setting.

Student knows the different types of patterns and can successfuly complete them.

Student may not be able to catch the ball in a game setting or in a stationary setting.

Student can perform the skill in a game situation when left ungaurded.

Student can combine catching with movement to avoid a defender

Student doesnt know the different football positions after completing the unit.

Student knows the correct positions for defense and offense and can list their responsibilities
Advanced

Student knows the correct positions for defense and offense and can assign/explain roles to teammates.
