Good Student has made an attempt to include most of the parts of the staff.	Fair Student has included some of the parts of the staff.	Poor Student has made little or no attempt to include any of the parts of the staff
Notes 10 %	Excellent Student has used the approprite notes for their chosen key for this composition. Only the notes of their chosen scale can be used.	Good Student has used most of the notes for their chosen key signature. Some notes are not a part of their key signature.	Fair Student has used a variety of notes, some of which include notes from their chosen key signature.	Poor Student has made no effort to use any of the notes of the chosen key signature.
Transpositions 30 %	Excellent Student used only rhythms that were acceptable for their time signature. No rhythmic errors in the composition.	Good Student had 1-5 rhythmic errors in the composition.
