Appropriate Seam Line 25 % All seams are to be 5/8 inch for this project to practice sewing straight and matching.	Outstanding Stitching is equal. All seam lines are followed precisely and lines match up on quilt top	Good Stitching is even 50% of the time. Seam lines are followed most of the time.Most lines match on quilt top.	Fair Sticthing is uneven, there is bubbling of fabric. Many seam lines uneven. Lines do not match on quilt top.
Correct Cutting 25 % T-shirts and connector strips are cut neatly and according to directions.	Outstanding Accurate measurements and cutting used throughout.	Good Some measurements were slightly off causing some additional adjustments in assembly.	Fair Measurements and cutting considerably off causing major revisions to size of project.
Interfacing and pressing 20 % Interfacing is applied to t-shirts as directed and seams are pressed as directed.	Outstanding Interfacing applied to t-shirts. Quilt top very neatly pressed. All seam lines pressed according to instructions. pressing done during assembly to insure accurate stitching.	Good Interfacing applied to t-shirts.Quilt top is adequately pressed. Some seams are turned. Lines do not meet, indicating pressing might not have been done as instructed.	Fair Interfacing not applied correctly.Quilt top is poorly pressed. Lines do not meet, appears that pressing instructions were not followed.
Overall Neatness 20 % Quilt top is neat and holds its shape. Seam lines match allowing for shirts to be framed by connector strips.	Outstanding Threads cut, seams and entire project pressed. T-shirt blocks match at seam lines giving an appearance of framed pictures. Assembly directions followed accurately.	Good Some threads left uncut, project is not completely pressed. Most blocks and rows match at seam lines.Not all blocks appear to be framed pictures. Some inaccuracies in assembly allow for uneven rows.	Fair Lots of threads left uncut, project is not pressed. Many blocks and/or rows don't match. Some mistakes in assembly.
class work 10 % Use of time, project completion and neatness of work area.	Outstanding Begins work immediately and uses all of the class period to work on quilt top.
