Understanding of Assignment	Poor Student didn't understand the assignment and no effort was made to complete the assignment.	Fair Student didn't fully understand the assignment, but effort was made to complete it.	Good Student understood the assignment and did a good job of following through.	Excellent Student understood all aspects of the assignment and went above and beyond on the assignment.
Assignment Requirements	Poor Student didn't have the bubble map done correctly. There were no names in the middle circle and there were not six outer bubbles. They didn't use descriptive words to describe what they visualized as they read the story.	Fair Student somewhat had the bubble map done, and used some descriptive words to describe what they visualized.	Good Student did a good job on the bubble map and did a good job of visualizing what the characters looked like.	Excellent Student did an awesome job on the bubble map and did an awesome job on describing the characters.
Appearance	Poor Student didn't use a template for bubble map and circles and writing wasn't neat.	Fair Student used a template for bubble map, but could have made the bubbles neater and the writing could have been neater.	Good Student took their time on the bubble map and it was neat.	Excellent Student made sure all bubbles were in proportion to each other and the handwriting was excellent.
