Teaching PE Leads the class in a PE specific skill

Initiative Good control over class. Gives specific directions.	Poor Lacks contol over class. Directions are not clear or confusing. The teacher has to intervene on several occasions.	Fair Has some control over the class. Gives direction but directions are not that clear. The teacher may have to intervene once or twice.	Good Has control over the class. Give specific instruction and does not need teacher support.
Objective Knows what they are doing. Class runs smoothly.	Poor Does not seem to have a clear idea of what they want to do. Is unsure of drills and games or how to teach the material.	Fair Has put some planing and effort into the class. Have an idea of how to run the class but have a hard time communicating their ideas.	Good Knows what they want to teach the class and communicates to the class effectively.
Progression Skills are taght in a progressive way. From easy to hard.	Poor There is no concept of progression in skill development. Students seem to have randomly choosen the order.	Fair There are some ideas shown about skill development but some of the drills were out of progression.	Good Skills are taght in a progressive way. From simple to more complex. Drills follow order of compexity and build on skills.
Prepared Students are ready to go when the teacher asks them.	Poor Students are not ready to go when the teacher asks them.	Fair Students need time to organize themselves either at the beginning or during their lesson.	Good Students are ready to go when the teacher asks them right away.
