Five landmarks	Expert Map identifies and gives great directions to all five of the landmarks	Proficient Map Identifies some of the five landmarks and gives good directions to each.	Practice Map only identifies 3 of the five landmarks and lacks directions.	Approaching Map identifies some of the landmarks, but gives no directions.
Compass Rose	Expert Includes a correctly positioned compass rose.	Proficient Includes a somewhat correct compass rose.	Practice Includes an incorrect compass rose.	Approaching Includes no compass rose at all.
Presentation	Expert Map is well constructed, neat and organized on poster board.	Proficient Map is well constructed but lacks neatness and is on poster board.	Practice Map lacks neatness and organization, but is on posterboard.	Approaching Map is sloppy and lacks neatness and organiztion. Map is not on poster board.
