Viscom 106 Drawing 1 Assess students ability to construct a drawing in Two Point Perspective that includes a cube, a sphere, a pyramid and a cylinder. As none of these four objects will parallel one another on the ground plane, multiple vanishing points on the horizon line must be used. Basic Construction	Poor Student does not understand the basic concept that objects diminish in size and recede to a single point on the horizon line.	Fair Student understands basic perspective concepts but is unsure of the process for locating vanishing points correctly.	Good Student understands basic perspective concepts and considers rules and logic for random placement of objects appropriately.
Multiple Vanishing Points	Poor Student does not understand at all the correct process for placing vanishing points on the horizon line when objects are not parallel to one another.	Fair Student understands that objects that are not parallel to one another on the ground have their own set of independent vanishing points but does not correctly understand the process for creating them.	Good Student understands the concept that objects that are not parallel to one another on the ground have their own independent vanishing points on the horizon line and understands the process for creating them correctly.
Compositional Design	Poor Student has created a composition that uses 2 point perspective but the overall layout does not demonstrate an interesting visual relationship between objects.	Fair Student has created a composition that uses 2 point perspective correctly but is not a dynamic layout because all objects vanish to the same points on the horizon line.	Good Student has created a composition that uses 2 point perspective correctly and has also created a dynamic layout because objects on the ground are not parallel to one another and therefore use multiple vanishing points on the horizon line.
