Speed	Poor Speaker speaks very fast/or very slow	Fair Speaker speaks too fast or too slow at times	Excellent Speaker keeps an even tempo when presenting; does not speak too fast or too slow
Transitions	Poor Speaker uses "um" or "like" a lot as a transition	Fair Speaker says "um" or "like" too often as a transition word	Excellent Speaker transitions from one topic to the next without the use of "um" or "like"
