Planning The student researched and inspiration from the Surrealism Art movement for their final piece. The student has made a detailed sketch of the final project.	Beginning Student has a very rough sketch or no sketch in Visual Journal. Student artwork has no relation to the Surrealism art movement.	Satisfactory Student has a quick sketch in the Visual Journal. Student shows clear connections to the surrealism art movement.	Excellent Student has a well drawn out sketch in the Visual Journal. Student has excellent connections between artwork and surrealism art movement in Visual Journal.
Carving Technique Correct carving tools and techniques has been used to create a all rounded sculpture.	Beginning Piece has been carved into.
