Tissue Paper	Needs Improvement Student did not apply the glue mixture to the tissue paper correctly. Many areas of tissue paper are falling off or already fell off.	Satisfactory Student applied the glue mixture to the tissue paper correctly, however, there may be a few areas where the tissue paper is falling off.	Outstanding Student applied the glue mixture to the tissue paper correctly, and no areas of tissue paper are falling off.
Drawing and Cutting	Needs Improvement Student did not draw and cut the leaf as instructed. Many parts of the leaf are missing.	Satisfactory Student drew and cut the leaf as instructed, however, there may be one or two parts of the leaf that were accidentally cut off or were not drawn.	Outstanding Student drew and cut the leaf as instructed, all parts of the leaf are included.
Gluing the Leaf to the Background	Needs Improvement Student did not glue the leaf properly onto a background or did not include a background.	Satisfactory Student glued the leaf to a background, but the leaf may be falling off the background paper or hanging over the sides of the background paper.	Outstanding Student glued the leaf to a background and the leaf is not falling off or hanging off the background paper.
Use of Warm and Cool Colors	Needs Improvement Student did not follow directions and may have mixed up where the warm and cool colors were supposed to go.	Satisfactory Student followed directions, using warm colors and cool colors on the correct areas, however, there may be one or two stray colors placed in the wrong area.	Outstanding Student followed directions and used warm colors and cool colors on the correct areas with no errors.
Background	Needs Improvement Student did not draw swirls on their background, or drew very few. Student may have included many other lines and shapes instead. Student also may not have correctly used a Q-tip to blend the swirls.	Satisfactory Student drew swirls on their background, but may have included one or two other lines or shapes too. For the most part, they correctly used a Q-tip to blend their swirls.	Outstanding Student drew swirls on their background and then properly used a Q-tip to blend their swirls.
