Students have included the elements of different textures and colors in their design thoroughly and with great effort.

Students give great effort to include the elements of texture and color in their design.
2 (Satisfactory)

Students include the elements of texture and color in their project with fair effort.

Student gives little effort in making their design with texture and color.
1 (Unsatisfactory)

Students give no effort at all to create their project and include texture and color to their design.
Creativity

3 (Outstanding)

Students create their design based off of the information given in class and completely making it their own piece in a way that shows their best art techniques and skills.
2+ (S+)

Students take what was learned in class to create their piece while they use some of the examples to create their own. Shows the students best art skills only at some points.
2 (Satisfactory)

Students have used half of the model examples of other art pieces to make their project. This shows little creativity or art skills within the students art.
2- (S-)

The student has copied all of another art piece to make their project. They have no creativity in their piece that shows their art skills.
1 (Unsatisfactory)

Student has made zero effort to try to complete the piece or show any of their art skills in the project.
Time/Effort

3 (Outstanding)

Student uses the time given wisely and works quietly to get the assignment completed. The student also does not rush to get the assignment finished early.
2+ (S+)

Student uses the time to complete the assignment but is a little noisy and disruptive to other students. The student also takes his/her time completing the assignment.
2 (Satisfactory)

Student spends most of the time talking to other classmates instead of working on the task. Pays little attention to the details and rushes through assignment.
2- (S-)

Student is very loud and spends little time on the assignment and pays little attention to the details. They have to be continuously asked to work on the assignment.
1 (Unsatisfactory)

Student does not use the time at all to work on the assignment and just talks to other students. When asked to do the work, he/she will just hurry up and finish the work.
Following Directions

3 (Outstanding)

Students follows directions completely and does as the teacher says without complaint.
2+ (S+)

Student follows most of the directions given by the teacher.
2 (Satisfactory)

Student follows little directions given by the teacher with some complaint.
2- (S-)

Student followed very few directions and would complain about them.
1 (Unsatisfactory)

Student followed none of the directions given and complained to the teacher.
